Style Drive Overload

Lately as I have been bogged down with the edit of my documentary film, I haven't been able to really go out there and get into the kind of photography I like to do. Hence, its just been more or less me helping my girlfriend out with her fashion blog ( ). Even though I do love the girls, it honestly is a very tedious job to shoot for fashion specially when the only light source is natural sunlight. This was at a ridiculous time of 2pm on a bright-no-cloud-in-sight day, hence tres tres difficile to even comprehend what the stark highlights and shadows were doing to the picture. Nevertheless, this is the best I could do. Hopefully I can post some thing other than my usual stuff, but the wait has to be there.

Btw, our documentary titled "Glut" will be screened on the 10th of this month at K.C.College's Film Festival, Roll Take Turn. The screening starts at 11am so please do try to make it. A good friend of mine, Sahil Bhagat and I are the directors, with me as the cinematographer as well. This was my first venture into shooting an entire film with DSLRs, so yeah if anyone is interested please do come. If nothing, then its open to criticism and you can blast me on how bad I am behind the camera. Totally, serious! Take care! :)

High Dynamic Range

Been desirous of doing an HDR experiment and spontaneously had an urge to do one tonight. This is first of many. Next up, HDR Portraits. :)

Being that should really be a photographer's drive irregardless of his/her skill set. The practicality of capturing a moment depends entirely on how fast one perceives their surroundings and the instantaneous reaction to capture that specific moment. A fast prime again helps in such endeavors.
